Matt Smith Series One on the ABC/iView debut

From DoctorWhoNews.com:
In response to a query by a fan, Matthew Galvin from ABC Audience and Consumer Affairs said that the upcoming Matt Smith season will be on the ABC from April.

However a firm date is yet to be finalised.

This response means that Matt Smith Series One will be shown on the ABC not long after its broadcast in the UK.

I bet I end up watching them out of order, 'cos I'll be in the UK....not sure how many eps I'll get the opportunity to watch while I'm away, but I will try to tune into BBC when I can.

I can guarantee no-one will be at that particular Hub party until Doctor Who is over Grin

ABC are doing a much better job of advertising Doc Who this time around!

I've now seen several short promos (for the show on iView mainly) but tonight I saw a really long promo for Who! Daleks and those stone angel things and other stuff, oh my!

Kudos to the ABC for all they've done (promos / iView etc etc).

Heard lots of favourable reviews also from Aussie reviewers, so the new series is shaping up to be a goodie! Also they are saying Matt is as competent as the other guys.

I'm unreasonably excited about the whole thing.

I agree whole heartedly ruthy, the two newbies are making the roles their own without destroying the doctors persona or ruining the relationship between the doctor and his companion.
I`m looking forward to the rest of the series as i`ve enjoyed the first two episodes
